My name is Suhaina Zaheer Ansari. I was born in Karachi, Pakistan. I am an emerging Traditional Artist. I have been creating artworks since my childhood. I got professional training in Sketching of Still life in 2017 from an Art Institute in Karachi. I chose this field because I am internally connected to it. From childhood, my interests have been on the creative, and artistic side. I love to read, write, paint, create, and capture simple things. Whenever I feel sad, distorted, I always find myself doing some kind of artwork and that’s how I get to know my passion. Painting the canvas with your imagination allows you to create a different world and feel other emotions than the ones you always felt. I want my art to show people how I see the world. I don’t want my art, my writings to be perfect, I want them to be true. To me, my artworks are my strong contender for sharing my thoughts, perspectives of the world. Exploring the themes and styles of art throughout my growing years, Figurative style is the most I have been connected to. I like to draw human figures while using some abstract motifs with them. The subject of my artwork determines a reality that isn’t visible to the human eye. Thus far, my works include the use of deep colors, concepts, and emotions. I like to explore other mediums and styles of art and want to create something that can challenge stereotypes like I tried to do in my ‘Let Her Fly’ artwork. I would love to explore art movements like expressionism and impressionism to convey my ideas to the viewers.
